VARIOUS. Diplomas
Diplomas are awarded to students who have attended classes on a consistent basis, actively participated in class and completed required class examinations and homework.
They state the amount of hours studied and the grade attained based on the exam results and student's course work. In order to be awarded a diploma students must have attended at least 90% of their classes. Students can also opt to do a preparation course for the official DELE exams (Diplomas de Espaņol como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), which test students' level of competence in Spanish, granted by the Instituto Cervantes in name of the Ministry of Education and Science.
