First Day at ISLA
Welcome! Hope you've had a good breakfast as the first day is pretty busy. Apart from learning all about ISLA, you kick off with your classes too!
Depending on whether or not you have some Spanish knowledge, you'll have been given a show-up time on your confirmation - those who do know some Spanish will do the Classification Test.
You'll then meet the ISLA team, receive your ISLA file and get shown around the school. Classes follow - time to meet your teachers and class-mates.
You'll also have an orientation meeting - in English for beginners and Spanish for everyone else. We'll explain who is in charge of which part of your language stay and give you a few basic ISLA rules and pieces of advice. We'll explain the diploma system including an explanation of the ISLA policy regarding grading, levels and attendance. Finally, we'll take you through the ISLA program of activities arranged for the duration of your stay.
Lastly, a welcome drink with a member of the team and your fellow students.
