Official Recognition

" The teachers are such great fun and the relationship you share with

them isn´t the traditional one of distance that I was used to England

but more one of good friendship. This means that you learn loads but at

the same time don´t really realize how much you´re taking in. " Freddie

ISLA Official Recognition

Instituto Cervantes
sfThe Instituto Cervantes promotes and safeguards Spanish language and culture around the world and is responsible for Spain's Accreditation scheme for Spanish language centres. Any language school that wishes to receive this official recognition is exhaustively inspected in all aspects of its program (academic, administrative, accommodation, leisure activities, veracity of publicity claims and more). ISLA is extremely gratified to be one of the first schools in Spain to be an Accredited Centre and to achieve consistently top scores in follow up inspections.

DELE examinations
The Common Framework of European Languages has made it much easier for employers or universities to measure your language level (rather than just taking your word for it!). The DELE exams provide official recognition of your Spanish level and our considerable experience in preparing students for these exams mean that over 93% of ISLA students are successful in achieving a high pass.

College/university credit, grants, training
ISLA courses are approved for credit by international universities and colleges and also for EU grants such as Lingua, Leonardo and more. ISLA is a preferred training provider for several international institutions including the FAO (United Nations) and the Red Cross, and runs regular training courses and seminars for Spanish teachers (if you are a teacher contact amanda@academiaisla.com)
