" Rosa and Domingo were nothing but generous and kind for my two

weeks. They both took a genuine interest in my learning, helping me

with homework and talking incessantly at me so that silence simply

wasn't an option. " Elizabeth

ISLA Free Services - Intercambios

Most people rather go to the dentist than stroll up to strangers to introduce themselves.

Fortunately, ISLA has devised an intercambio system which facilitates that first contact. ISLA has a list of Spaniards interested in doing a conversation exchange and will match them to you according to the language they study, their age, sex and interests. We will even make the first date for you.

What do you do on an intercambio? Whatever you feel like! A coffee, tapas, visit to the cinema - some people even end up visiting their intercambios' villages and thus seeing more of Spain. So, as well as practising your Spanish, you end up with some Spanish chums.
