Payment Instructions

ISLA accepts payment by Bank Transfer, Credit Card (VISA), Online banking, PayPal. Please do keep a copy of any reference numbers of transfers or other payments you make.

Do please note that all bank transfer fees are payable by the student, including those the Spanish end so try and make sure your bank has included these or you may have to pay them on arrival. Also, all fees are in euros - foreign currency quotes on the website are orientative. Any differences in exchange rate which result in discrepancy on the day of arrival of the bank transfer will be charged (or indeed refunded )on arrival of the student.

Please make all transfers payable to ISLA and write your name (or the name of the student) in the reference field. ISLA will confirm receipt of transfers within 24 hours (weekends 48 hours).

In order to pay by credit card over the phone please ring us with your credit card number and the expiry date. We will check the balance with you, charge the card and give the receipts to you /the student on arrival at ISLA on request.

Students on long-term courses (12 weeks or longer) may opt to pay for accommodation on a monthly basis at the start of each month.

Please bear mind that invoicing errors or disputes will be referred to the current ISLA website prices.

If you need to cancel your course before your arrival date any money you have paid (course, accommodation, transfer)  will be refunded, less the 100 Euro registration fee and non- refundable accommodation deposits (eg. for private apartments, hotels) and transport tickets.

Please note that we need all cancellations in writing which means by letter, email or fax) rather than telephone, skype etc.

Under the conditions of our money back guarantee, if for any reason you wish to cancel your course in the first week you get a refund of unused course and accommodation fees (less any non-recuperable accommodation fees such as
deposits or where the apartment owner/hotel has already been paid in full).

After this time, we can only offer refunds in very exceptional cases like work, examinations, proven illness by a Spanish doctor, pregnancy or military service. We do need an original document verifying the reason for cancellation to give you your refund.

Please make sure that you request your refund within 30 days of completion of the course as after this period you might lose your right to refund.

If you have to cancel because your visa application has been refused any money you have paid will be refunded in addition to the non- refundable 100 Euro registration fee will be refunded.
