just teach me. It gave me the opportunity to see so much more." Toby

Work Experience with ISLA

work in spanish schoolEvery year ISLA takes on a few students on the Work Experience Scheme. As well as enjoying an Intensive Spanish Course, students benefit from work experience at our language school. Tasks involve correspondence with future students, assisting with creation of marketing databases, preparation of mailings, pick-up of students in Madrid, accompanying of students on school activities and general errand-running.

Candidates must be keen, energetic, good humoured and expect long days. This is not a post that suits someone who simply wants their course for free, but rather seeks the opportunity of being part of a team, of extending their Spanish day and of learning from new situations. They will be expected to muck in on any task and to join all school activities which they will receive for free. Less full-on is the post of Coffee-girl or Coffee-boy. This involves running the school café and keeping them stocked and clean. This person must be cheerful and outgoing. The minimum time period for the Work Experience is 3 months and for that of Coffee girl/boy is 1 month. Please indicate on your registration form in comments if you would like to be considered for either of these two posts. If you are interested in either position, please send your cv with a photo and a letter explaining why you are the person for the job to dieter@academiaisla.com
