Student Residences in Salamanca

Residences provide rooms with shared or ensuite rooms with B&B, half board or full board. All are within 10 minutes walk from ISLA and the centre.

Description & Facilities
Residences range in size from the small (15 pax) to the large (100 pax). All the residences that ISLA sends students to have free wireless internet facilities, a TV room and a kitchen or corner with a fridge and microwave for student use. Laundry is included in the price quoted. In the smaller residences there is usually just one choice of meal offered (though there is always a vegetarian option too). The residence with private bathrooms has the biggest variety at mealtimes including 3 choices of starters and mains and a salad bar.

Character & Residence life
Although there may be Spanish students living at the residence as well as foreign guests this does not mean that here will necessarily be lots of chatting and mixing so if your aim is to speak Spanish at home it is better to go for a homestay. And generally speaking, if you feel you would appreciate having someone to be there for you for a chat and to ask about your day, better go for a family.

If, however, you are pretty confident and independent and want to come and go as you please then a residence will suit you... and there is a very good chance that you will be living with several other like-minded beans!
